About Us

Founded in the heart of the "Tri-County" region, the Navarro, Freestone, and Limestone Amateur Radio Club (NFLARC) was built on the shoulders of dedicated operators like Al Murra (WD5JOT), Randy Allen Wilson (KA5ROF), and Byford Cook (W5GXE). These Charter members—many of whom have now joined the ranks of the Silent Keys—established a legacy of community service and technical excellence that spans decades. From early emergency communications in Corsicana and Tehuacana to the modern digital era, NFLARC remains a cornerstone of the local ham community.
